| This
monitor, the ET7V76TRMD, is a 17"
LCD monitor with a touch screen interface
and a high contrast ratio (500:1). It
is the ideal monitor for viewing x-ray
(grayscale) images chair side with the
patient. The display is 1280x1024 and
the pixel pitch is 0.264 mm which will
give very high spatial resolution -
like that necessary to see small objects
close together. There are also standard
(non-touch) monitors available in 17"
and 19" sizes.
The
monitor has a USB connection, but
the company will configure it with
a serial port if you want. We did
that at the dental school on Arizona
(Arizona School of Dentistry &
Oral Health) because of the long travel
of the cord from the pole mounted
monitor to the CPU at the rear of
the operatory chair.
The students and faculty
love the touch screen capability and
the attending faculty from the surrounding
community regularly comment on how
great the images look. This monitor
has an option for TV input so you
can entertain your patients.
It is THE ONLY
monitor that has been configured for
12V operation in the dental operatory.
This is a SAFER electrical
setting and one that is required in
hospital OR settings.
EXORVISION
will soon receive their UL certification
(pending) as a "medical grade"
instrument from the U.S. government.
The monitor is to be sold through
distributors in the United States
and Canada. But you can get more information
by clicking on the various links from
my site.
Hope this information
will help you all.
